Hi Kathy6323 Thank you for your reply I have had this problem for over a year, i have had antibiotics from my local doctor, but this has not worked, so i will look into seeing my lapband doctor, to have a defill and tablets, did this cost you a lot of money or was you covered by the private health care please can you let me know thanks prest

Hi I wonder if anyone else has this problem I have had this on and off for the past nine months, I am fine in the day, but at night once I go to bed usually after 2/3 hours I have a coughing spree, normally just start coughing then continuous thick Water comes up and starts choking, I have tried not eating or drinking before going to bed, and all sorts, I usually spend the night sitting up in bed just to keep everything down. I have been to my own doctors who are no help, they sent me for a breath test to see if there is a bug in my stomach, but all came back ok, I ask for antibiotics but once I mentioned my band, they would not give me any, and now all the docs just say must go back to where I had my band fitted to see the private doctors, of course I cannot afford this, so I am still having this condition and do not know what to do, I also often get sick too, Please if anyone has this also or any advise please can you let me know.
