  1. i say.... Good for you... i wish mine would have covered it... id be 8800 buck richer... lol what insurance do you have? if you don't mind me asking I have BCBS of Louisiana
  2. yes in deed .... lellow.... at a girl
  3. I would think about getting a complete un fill before having removed. See how that works out for you. I know from personal experance that when i had my tt and all my fill was removed... i gained 10 in 6 weeks. Thats when i realized that i'm terrified of not having my band.... i need her to keep me accountable for the crap i really want to eat but can't... if you choose to get your band out... good luck i hope you the best.
  4. i was a 0 too... i had the cutest cat... she was sooo pretty. My boobs were so perky... 34 d's. but then i got fat.... and so did my cat... i didn't like her. when they did my TT, they pulled everything and did some lipo..... and now she is pretty again.... no more fat cat...
  5. that also depends on your insurance..... i had 2 c-sections and insurance would not cover.
  6. it all depends on your insurance.... My insurance didn't pay... so i did out of pocket and it was $8800 for everything...... I have also heard that in some cases if there is xtream amount of skin that Burn centers will do a skin removal for the donation of the skin..... just an FYI...
  7. Omg some people don't deserve too have this wonderful tool....jS
  8. This is why I love each and every one of you. You guys always make me smile. I'm with Lellow my hubby doesn't like the clean shave. So I just keep the lady garden weedfree and manicured. Glad the older I get the less hair I have down there. Maybe I'm Asian too.... Lol. JK. But the key to a bump free shave is I use conditioner instead do shaving cream and a new razor. 99% of the time insurance won't cover tt. Mine didn't
  9. I have never had it done, i just shave. and i have to say its a lot easier with out the old belly flap. I too had two c-sections and know exactly what you are talking about. Good luck
  10. Pura... If you want to keep your secret .. tell no one especially female co-workers... Woman are jealous by nature and one day.... some one will say... wow.. Look at Pura, she looks great and that one person you told will say... Well she took the easy way out and had WLS..... Sure as im sitting here it will happen. So i told people at first... im watching what i eat and exercising... which was the truth.
  11. I LOVE Moscato....
  12. so sorry that happen to you girl... hope it goes better tomorrow
  13. kbell... that's how the other doctor in the office does it.... for me it was not good, but others may be ok with it. I just prefer the Pillow. Plus my doctor like to talk... a lot... hehe Keep up the good work...
  14. I normally drink wine... but if i do the "hard" stuff.. i try and stick with the Crown and water with a splash of 7up. Or i do Parrot bay rum with peach orchard juice...
  15. Hey Doll.... Im not sure what your doctors fill procedure is but, if i may make a suggestion..... Have him place a pillow under your back. This will push the port forward. This is what my doctor does and i have never had trouble with him. I had a fill with one of the other doctors in my surg office and he didn't use the pillow instead made me do a crunch... it was terrible. Try it at home. Lay on the floor and place a pillow under your back.... see if you can feel it.. Not sure if it will help.... but good luck.
  16. Nope.... i have flown a few time and no alarms... I will say that i did feel a little tighter in the air... but maybe it was just my imagination
  17. look at you.... BTW... Great legs...
  18. starting a new day... today. Thanks jfc
  19. feeling down today and went back and re read what i wrote in April... Thanks everyone for supporting me.... This too shall pass
  20. My name is also Christina.... nice to meet you. Sometimes the Vitamins can also cause upset stomach. I did the same as Lellow... i avoided them as much as i could... but go figure today... i felt like a smoothie from smoothie King... so that's whats for lunch. chocolate Peanut Butter power. chocolate whey powder, peanut butter, and bananas... Ymmy Remember when you feel that way.... repeat this in your head..... This Too Shall Pass...
  21. you really miss the opportunity to have a huge amount of support on your side. I went back and looked at just a few of the people that...ALL of which have lost are in the process of losing and are doing a great job..........We all Answered your question...it just wasn't the answer you wanted too hear. And you are wrong this is an Elite Club...and im proud to be a member.... we have all been banded and went through everything you are going through now. Why not take what people tell you and learn from it.... If your doctor told you it was ok for you to eat the day after your LB surgery... then by all means follow what He/she says.... But i have to wonder if you were completely satisfied with his/her answer...Why then did you come here and ask. Obviously some where deep down you know that was not the right thing too do. So you continue to live your life and we all with continue to be successful bandmembers.
  22. hehe... omg.. you don't have a pouch yet. I really think you need to go back to your doctor and tell him that... Ask him when your going to get you pouch.... i would Love to hear what he tells you after he stops laughing.....
  23. Wow. Some one has their panties in a bit of a knot.... Stating the obvious is not being negative. So you were made aware of what was expected of you before hand. You at a BURRITO.... So you did disregard the rules. Do you think that we all weren't starving after our surgery? Omg I was. But I knew going into this that I would face tuff times.... But I signed up for all this. Just like everyone else did So too answer your question: no I did not eat till I was told I could. Guess I just wanted it more than you. Guess that's why we are all successful LB patients. Can't wait to see how your doing in a year.
  24. why do people get the band ... knowing the rules and the long road ahead.. only to disregard them? I think maybe some self reflection on what you thought life with the band was/is going to be like. Did you doctor/NUT tell you what diet you were going to be responsible for after your surgery? If so, why didn't you ask that question at that time? Did you say: Why do i have to wait? What could be the complications if i don't and eat?
  25. i love a good tattoo.... Lellow all yours look great. You are a beast for what you have had done. I don't know many men who could have sat through what you did. My hubby has one... and i don't like it. He has it done on a sper-of-the-moment. The guy was supposed to be great and had 30 years experience... it was terrible... I can't wait for him to get it covered.
