  6. Sorry. Hope it feels better soon. I have done that as well and know the feeling.
  7. I go to see the doc tomorrow afternoon. I am nervous for several reasons. Before being admitted to the hospital he emptied my band. In the past week I have began to feel somewhat human again. I feel I still have a way to go before I can take a nice long walk. With that being said I fear that I could be released to work. I do not have the strength to fight 150 pound teen boys yet. The set backs I had really put me behind in the healing process. I still can't take my dogs outside to potty. Therefor unable to take them on walks due to all of the pulling. I am also worried that I will get a fill. I don't think I am ready and have been doing just fine without any fluid. I just had an awful time with 4cc's and in 2 visits had to have it drained. That was on liquids. I am sure he won't do it if I request that it not be done. I just need to stop stressing.

  9. Sounds like you are good to go. You can contact your insurance company of you have specifics that you are worried about.

I think that is awesome. For many years I have used the big towels. I bought a replacement about 2 years back for one of my towels and was sad that it did not cover all my parts. I used it again the other day and it almost closed at the bottom. I was ecstatic so I understand your joy! Congrats!

  13. My grocery bill is higher. Healthy is more expensive for sure. However saving a fortune on not eating out. I don't allow my other half to eat out either. He was use to fast food 2 meals a day. Not no more. I made a great dinner tonight and he loved it. It was our first meal together since my surgery.

  16. I had a similar feeling about a week after as well. Mine passed when I was able to have mushies.

  24. I noticed that I was having hair loss post-op. I was not able to keep in the shakes and still can't. Pre-op I did fine with them but, after it was like a switch was flipped. Since I have been out of the hospital about the last week and have been able to eat it has virtually stopped. I eat eggs (2) scrambled for breakfast. Lunch is chicken or Tuna. Dinner is crab, chicken or tuna. Before bed if I am hungry I lick on a spoon of peanut butter. From time to time I alternate with cottage cheese instead of eggs for breakfast (cholesterol reasons) or mashed potatoes (for carbs) at lunch with a few chunks of crab. I only had surgery 4 weeks ago and do find it difficult to get in all protein required. My hair loss has improved so much though. 2 1/2 weeks no protein was rough on my body. Increase protein and it should stop.

  27. Fantastic story! I love stories like this.
  28. Glad you are feeling better! I had to have all 4cc's taken out of mine until my swelling goes down so my pouch won't close up. I am nervous to have Fluid put back in as sick as I was.
  29. Fantastic! That is great! I am so happy for you. I love pools and swimming that is one thing I can not wait for next summer.
