Hi Lydia,

I'm not sure where Valley Springs is. Which direction from the Bay Area. I had my surgery at Kaiser Richmond north of Oakland. As far as get togethers, Kaiser Richmond has a support group the 1st and 3rd Wednesday nights. We have an Obesity Help luncheon one Saturday a month. There is also an Obesity Help support group in San Leandro on the third Saturday of every month.

Let me know what direction you are and maybe I can help you find something. I know that a lot of the Sacramento folks have had surgery at Kaiser Fremont as well. I know two people currently waiting to be Sleeved at Fremont.

Thank you wannalise! These two weeks have gone so quickly. I can't believe how great I'm feeling. I know that moving to pureed foods will give me loads more energy. I can't wait to watch your progress!

Hi Sarah! What a gorgeous pic of you and baby! Surgery is so close now. How are you doing? I've been sick with a sore throat and cough since last Friday. I'm getting a little freaked out since surgery is next week.

Hi Josephine, I read that your surgeon gave you a bigger sleeve. Do you know what size it is? My doc said he's going to give me a 40 which sounds big to me, so you made me curious. Have a fun day! Lee
