What Do the Protein Bullets Taste Like?

I used the Isopure Grape Frost to make Jello. 2 cups cold Water, 2 cups Isopure It tastes just fine in Cherry jello. Today I'm experimenting with Isopure and Knox unflavored Gelatin. I'll let you know how it turns out. -
How long was your stall? and what did you do to break it?

You're so right. This is a journey. The fun part is that we all have a different journey, but from what I've seen, the outcome is much the same. Slim, healthy body! Have fun, you deserve it! -
Loser ~ go easy on that new baby tummy you've got! Would you be feeding a newborn chips and salsa? You are a very silly guy. I went to the store and found interesting soups that I will blend up post-op. I'll get to have full liquids (soup), 5 days post-op. I suggest you head to the soup aisle and find everything interesting that you can. I've read that people love bean with bacon, clam chowder, split pea etc. Let us know what you find. We're all in the same bland boat!

ThinOneDay, what a sane way of handling your situation with the scale. Bravo on being so creative! -
I'm very excited that I'll be able to officially join this group in two weeks! I'm trying very hard to shed pounds before surgery so I think I'll keep myself accountable with all of you. 2/1/2010 - 231 2/8/2010 - 227

Pennie, I'm curious to see the responses to this as well. Good question! -
Every doctor is so different. For me it will be clear for four days, moving to full liquids on day five. I'm still going to go very very slowly as I learn what works for me.
-
Stacy, I love the Peach tea from Celestial Seasonings. It never occured to me to put flavored Protein into tea. I was just thinking unflavored. Terrific idea!
-
Tiffy, I did a trial run with the Isopure and put it into Jello to see if I could tolerate it. Not too bad. If I eat it slowly all day, I'll have 40 protein. I used 1 bottle of Isopure, two cups of hot water (cooled to 130) and it worked just fine.
-
Great attitude Lucy!
-
Is bottled Isopure clear liquid? I can see through it in the bottle. I was hoping to make jello with it.
-
YouKnowIt, I use the Unjury unflavored in Hot Tea. I mix the powder in some water, then cool my tea to 130 degrees so the protein won't clump and stir the powder mix into the tea. It's a little strange, but a great way to get in the protein. I plan to do that post-op next week.

You're going to be just fine! Hang in there and visualize yourself in the outfit you've always dreamed of wearing. :biggrin2: -
Lan, I used to like Braggs as well but these days it's just too salty for me. I've always been a "natural and organic" kinda gal as well. Keep posting the healthy products that you find.
-
I found the unjury chicken Soup was too salty for me. I'm planning to use Trader Joe's Low sodium organic chicken broth and put the Unjury unflavored Protein powder in it for something warm post-op. I'm afraid of having too much sodium and not being able to hydrate enough. I love the Jay Robb chocolate. This morning I made it with 6 oz of Trader Joe's Unsweetened Soy milk. Only 3 carbs for 8 oz. I hope I still like it post op! My favorite product right now is BodyTech Dutch Chocolate pudding. One packet mixed with 5-6 oz of Water. It's a little sweet for me. The other night I made it with some soymilk and it cut the sweetness a lot. I'm planning to use that during my pudding/yogurt stage. I think it's 25 protein for the 5-6 oz. I'm really wondering what my taste buds will be saying post-op.
