    I feel blessed, I got sick with a cold two weeks before Christmas and had to take meds, then had a Colonoscopy on the 22nd! Well I did not make my goal for Onderland only by four lbs. So I am blessed that I lost more weight! I had a wonderful Christmas with Family and Friends! Lots of Laughter and many Compliments. I got called the Skinny Girl~ Now thats a great Christmas Present even if I missed hitting the Goal I set for myself. I will be there by the New Year! It will be wonderful to be in onederland! No new years resolutions for me, just lifestyle changes! I already feel like I have a newbirth! Things have changed greatly for me with the band in place. I love exercising now! My new Hobby is the Gym. I asked for Gym Clothes for Christmas, size M!!!!! Not 24W's~~~~Yeah! Not Depressed Here~Here I go !!!! Happy New Year ALL!:tt2::thumbup::thumbup::w00t::thumbup::wink:

    I have met all the goals I have set for myself since getting the Lap Band. I have an upcoming goal for Christmas that I will be in onderland. Now I have six lbs to lose in 9 days! And~~~I have all these Christmas Parties to attend, temptations, and shopping trips ahead. Can I do It? I don't know, but I am going to push ahead and try really hard!
     
    I don't want to get the blues about it, and have my Christmas ruined because I don't make the goal, and I am sure I will be close to it anyway! The Good News is I have lost 55 lbs forever in five months so I will have to bask in that glory for a glorious Christmas if I don't make it to my goal, maybe by New Years!!!!! I still want a sexy red dress for Christmas! My husband will get a Garmin and ME!!!! LOL Merry Christmas ALL!:confused:

    Christmas is coming and a Red dress (Sexy) is calling my name!
    I want to get into a nice sexy Red Dress by Christmas. I know that I am looking better, all my friends are telling me so, and I could get complacent and just stop right here, but this is where I always Gave Up at before when I was on diets. I AM NOT SATISFIED YET!
    I AM HOPING FOR ONDERLAND BY CHRISTMAS! I AM 211.4 THIS MORNING AND I BELIEVE THAT I CAN DO IT!
    I HAVE A PLAN, STAYING IN KETOSIS TILL THE POUNDS DROP, INCREASING MY EXCERCISE EVERY DAY, GONNA GIVE MYSELF A CHRISTMAS PRESENT!

    Remembering that the LapBand is our tool, it is not a diet pill that will harm us, but it is our guide to eating smaller portions.

    We must change our way of thinking when it comes to the foods we choose to put in our bodies. This is not a journey to just get slim, it is also a journey to good healthy lifestyles. Eating better, and feeling better.

    Health and Wellness may be yours and you can add years to your life if you just accept the fact that "To change your life, you must first accept the help from the LapBand, don't fight it, and change your mind and way of thinking about food, and you will change your body.

    :biggrin: If you lack the courage to start, you are already finished! I love this saying and it is so true.

    We must get started, and if we have started and get off track, the courage to start over again.

    I have been up and down two lbs since Oct. 28th, It is down again, but I think that the exercise program I have started is building muscle and that could weigh more.

    I want Onderland by Christmas and that is my goal now. A little present to myself.

    STRESS AFFECTS MY ATTITUDE AND MY APPETITE! I GET SO OUT OF CONTROL WHEN I SUFFER OR SEE OTHERS SUFFER. I THINK THAT FOOD HAS BEEN MY COMFORT FOR SO LONG, THAT WHEN I AM SAD, I WANT TO EAT AND NOT JUST FOOD, SWEETS! I KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO SABATOGE MY DIET PLAN, BUT THEY CALL TO ME WITH COMFORT. IT IS REALLY HARD, IS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCING THESE FEELINGS? I AM SO FULL TONIGHT, I HURT! IT SURE FELT GOOD GOING DOWN THO!:frown:UNHAPPY WITH MYSELF NOW AND FEELING GUILTY.

    I have to admit, I am a little worried about the next fill and excited too! I want to get more weight off and keep it off and I know this is what I wanted! But in three days I will get the next fill #2 and I am so nervous. It doesn't hurt, I am not anxious about that, but I just worry that I will not be able to consume any food much that I like, although I don't get hungry now. I also worry that I will choke or get food hung and panic! Scared to death of that! I have not thrown up at all and I don't like to or want to. Anyone else feel this way?:thumbup::eek:

    I decided to follow the Lindora Lean for Life program. Very High Protein to get you into Ketosis in the first three Days, then introduce some good carbs day four on. It worked! I am only in a Moderate state of Ketosis and I have Lost 3.5 lbs this week or In 5 days actually. I go in for my second fill tomorrow and I have calmed down about it, thanks to all of those who sent a post.
    I know it will help restrict my intake of foods that I don't need to be eating and stop my cravings more too, also I want to get going with an excercise program. There is a Gym I have checked out that is $35 per month, and a personal trainer to assist you in setting up your Program! Gonna Give it a Whirl!:biggrin::thumbup::biggrin::eek::biggrin::mad::biggrin:Have a Blessed Day All!

    :confused:I'M SO HAPPY TODAY! GETTING TO MY GOALS FAST AND EASY. THE HIGH PROTEIN, MIN 60 G PER DAY AND LOW CARB DIET WORKS THE BEST WITH THE LAP BAND! EVEN A SMALL STATE OF KETOSIS WILL BURN UP THE FAT IN YOUR BODY!
    IT IS ONLY ONE WEEK TILL MY CLASS REUNION AND I AM REACHING MY GOAL! STAY THE COURSE AND RELY ON YOURSELF
    TO CONTROL WHAT YOU EAT! PREPARE THOSE MEAL PLANS IN ADVANCE, THAT IS WHAT I HAVE LEARNED AND IS VERY HELPFUL! HAVE A GREAT DAY!:wub:

    No one wants to be a looser! Well I like it! I never thought that loosing would make me a winner! LapBand AP has made me a looser and I am happy about it.
     
    I have started to visualize myself at 80 lbs thinner, now that I am 40 lbs or so down from my old weight! Next year at this time I will be a totally different woman!
     
    Take a photo of yourself, use a black marker, and trim yourself down! This will give you inspiration to get with the program, stay with the program, and get thin.
     
    Take it with you always, when you are tempted, take it out, look at it and walk away from those foods that will stop you from reaching your goals!
     
    I have been asked to start a support group at the local hospital where I had my surgery! I am very excited about being able to help others in their journey to slim with me.

    I found out that I have an 11cc band, I get my third fill this coming Wednesday. I do seem to get a little hungrier the week before the fill. Don't know why that is.
     
    I have had so many challenges this past two weeks, Class Reunion, Baby Showers, Celebration Dinners, Anniversarys, Fairs and Festivals Galore to mention a few. I have slipped a little here and there, but have always gained control and not thrown in the towel. I am striving for success, not perfection! I know that I am not perfect, no one is, but my goal now is to stay aware of what I am eating and get better at writing it all down. Drinking 80 ounces of water is a challenge for me, and the cooler it gets, I want coffee, not cold water, anyone else know how to get this water in?:wink:

    I feel like I am not dropping enough weight, what am I doing wrong? I am staying under 1,000 calories per day and getting my protien. Started Walking a mile every other day along with some weight work for my arms and body toning. I had my surgery on July 30, 2009, I weighed in at 250.5 and now weigh 228.8. one week prior to surgery I weighed 256.5, but I feel so fat. I know I have lost a lot of weight, but I can't feel that it is enough for the time. I am feeling ashamed and defeated, anyone else experience this?:thumbup::crying:

    :rolleyes:Well yes, Staying in God's Presence, that is the answer my friends. He helps us make all the important decisions in life if we will just rely on him and LET him help us.
     
    The Word says that if we abide in the presence of God, He will defeat our enemies, and hide us in the day of trouble. God's attention is on us, but we must keep our attention on Him to enjoy the fullness of His presence in our lives. We must invite God to be involved in everything we do, and then remember to praise Him for His goodness.
     
    And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing praises of the Lord. Psalm 27:6
     
    My lesson from this today has opened my eyes, I know that there is not a battle I can NOT win or you either if we stay in his presence.
     
    I struggle with obesity! Even with the bands help, we need God's help everyday to live with this in our lives. People will try to sway you, your decisions, your efforts. There is jelousy to deal with, anger management, and we are impatient, but God is in our favor and in control. Praying for a peaceful day for all.:smile:

    :smile:A Good Life is a choice!!!! There are guidelines for a good life!!!! There is a world full of peace and joy for all of us. Blessings will chase you and find you wherever you are!!!
     
    If you are a Christian and believe that is true, you believe what the Bible tells us and that there is a God Above watching over us! I DO!
     
    The Bible contains guidelines for that good life! God has PREARRANGED and made ready a good life for you!

    :thumbup: Well what can I say? I have to try to focus now as I am getting back to the basics! LOW CARB diets work for a person with the band.

    I want to lose about 15 lbs more before my daughters wedding in October. So I started on Low Carbs or almost NO Carbs yesterday for three days, that tends to work to get me into Ketosis. I checked my urine this morning after one day, and absolutely NO ketosis there! HA, what a waste of a Keto-strip. But just another day or two or after the weekend, I will try it again!

    I want to just burn fat really burn it up from now until 10-10-10.

    My daughter and I have to order our dresses for the wedding soon so they have time to arrive, I am going to get one size larger than I need and PRAY I have to take it in.

    The hardest part of getting back to the basics is sticking to the plan, but I will do it! My husband is working this weekend so that makes it easier for me cause I don't cook then.

    I am going to hit the Gym tomorrow too! Gonna be a good productive day! God Bless You all, have a great weekend!:thumbup:

    :tt1:Don't let your food get boring as I have done over the past eight months or so. Go to www.400caloriesorless.com and you will find wonderful recipes for high protein and low fat, also on www.lapband.com you will find great recipes to start with and continue with. I have submitted a couple of my own recipes and they have been accepted and published! Crab Tomato Soup and Asparagus Crab Delight try them. I have one good eating day and then a bad day, don't know why but I do!
