i am new to the lapband world. i just had my orientation and support group today. i can honestly say all the information i recieved was very overwhelming. i didn't know the dedication it takes to live the new full live. i have lymphedema in one leg that is not due to cancer. i have been at the same weight for one year. i feel doing the surgery would help my leg go down and of course me losing weight. i am still doing research on other methods, but this one seems to fit. i hope that people know that advice will be well received!
