  1. I am in too. I would like to lose 10#.
  2. I had 5 days of clears, 3 days of full liquids, 7 days pureed and 7 days of soft foods. It wasn't easy but I did it. I did lots of tea, popsicles and jello for the clears. Once I got to full liquids I could do protein shakes and that is what made a difference.
  3. Christiemr- congrats on the kid free weekend. I am jealous!!! Hummingbird- Hmm looks like you found a new use for McDonalds bags I think I will put some barf bags in the car just in case. Elfiepoo- That sounds horrible. Feel better soon {{{hugs}}} I now have a cold too. Baby girl has RSV and my son has a cold too. I hate being sick when they are. 11 days until first fill can't wait.
  4. I am all about the journal. I track on Free Diet Plans at SparkPeople I track exercising and eating and water since that is hard for me to get in. My doctor wants me to eat 3x a day with no snacks but I haven't had a fill yet so that isn't going to happen. He said he would rather I eat smaller amounts more frequently than eating too much and stretching my pouch. My meal plan is pretty much as others mentioned above. I really stress tracking your food.
  5. Well I made it. I was banded on the first and now I am counting down until I can get my first fill. I am starving!! I had a great nsv today put on my jeans and they are so loose!! Excited to meet everyone.
  6. I notice that too. I have be careful about breakfast. I never been much of a breakfast person and if I don't then my calories really add up from late afternoon to evening.
  7. A friend I used to work with had the LB surgery and is now at goal weight and looking awesome!! My son has noticed I don't look like most moms and has been making a ton of comments. Last fall during my husbands open enrollment with work I called around to see which insurance would cover the LB and at what percent. I got my paperwork in and saved money for my portion. I am still early on and waiting for my first fill but so far so good!!
  8. Sorry I am with Betsy I am not a fan of MM!
  9. I totally agree some days are harder than others. What I do to combat that is JOURNAL. Yeah it sucks to write down everything I put in my mouth but that is what I have to do to in order to be successful.
  10. Mine allow me to drink right up until I eat as well but not drinking for 2 hours after kills me. I count down the time occasionally.
  11. Mine is a little above my belly button and a little to the left. I thought it was going to be further left I don't like it right in front but I guess the line isn't that long.
  12. Thank you for sharing your story. I am so sorry for your loss.
  13. The list I was given for a full liquid diet was: skim milk, Protein shakes, strained soup, lf smoothies, yogurt drinks, custard, pudding, yogurt, nectar juice or juice. Looking forward to Monday to starting pureed foods.
  14. Ohhhh thanks for asking this question I was wondering the same thing. I was banded on the 1st.
