That is too funny!!!

Do you feel any restriction? I don't! But I have no fluid in my band? I emailed my doctor but he hasn't gotten back to me. I am very worried.

I live in Southern California and my real name is Dottie. I had my surgery on Dec. 16th and I have lost 35 lbs. to date. I started my journey through WW in Aug. I needed a "controlled" plan to get approved and just kept going. I have since quit WW and now go to my doc's support group. Since surgery I've lost 10 lbs. I did not do well the first day of surgery and couldn't keep anything down. So they drained all the fluid from my band. Therefore I have little restriction. So, I have been sticking to the diet they gave me. I'm still hungry but not nearly as much as before with the preop diet. Things are going well. I'm healing and lovin my band. I think once I get a fill it will be a lot better. Where are you going on vacation? When? Do me a favor and don't refer to me as "Dottie" on the message boards. No one knows my real name. I don't mind telling but it's been kind of a mystery...lol Take care and write when you can. Hugs to you...

She almost died from "fatty liver". I had to save her here at home giving her IVs and shots. The vets in SoCal are very expensive. We choose to nurse her at home. Now she's fine and that was like 5 years ago. So, she lives on...thus the picture for my photo...by the way her name is Boo.

Hey! I lost sooo much weight and did so good on the quitting smoking he moved my surgery to the 16th where he had a cancelation. So move me on the list also!!! Yeah me!!!

About your picture. Go to Customize Profile. On the right is Edit Avatar. Click. Scroll all the way down. Pick Option 2 and Browse for your picture on your computer. Find it and upload it. Let me know if this works.

That test sounds awful!!!

Hi Gorda, Yes, I asked for an aggressive fill and was granted one. She was unsure about it but I convinced her. If you have no restriction you shouldn't wait until the end of March (if they have no appt. until then tell them to call you if there's a cancelation..make them take your number and be firm). Call your doctor and tell them that you have no restriction and you want another fill. When was your last fill appt.? You probably have to wait at least 2 weeks between fills, but anymore than that is rediculous!!! I encourage you to take control of the situation and be more aggressive with getting this under conrol! Let me know what you decide.

I guess around 10 or 11 by now. Because of what happened I don't think she'll live to be very old. But she keeps hangin' in there.

How many ccs do you have in what size band? Just curious. I am at 6ccs in a 10 band as of this morning's fill.

They had to move me to the 22nd! I have to quit smoking. Well I did already for 5 days now! Yeah for me! I'll be watching though when all go through the procedure. Best of luck to ya!
