I have made the decision to have the lap band surgery after a 2 year consistent battle with health issues that include hypertension and sleep apnea. I have been overweight my entire adult life, after having my children young. My surgery is scheduled right before Christmas, I am excited and nervous at the same time. I know it will take some discipline by me and I look forward to beginning my new start in 2010.
