Well I was banded 12-14-09 and am doing ok I think. Not sure if I am hungry or just need to put something in my mouth. Having a lot of gas which from what I have read everyone does. Is this correct?? Have 1st Dr.'s appt. on Tues. Still unclear about what to put in my mouth. I think I have lost about 13 lbs. since the start of the pre-op diet and surgery. Hoping things get better.

  3. Hi Carrie, Thought your article was interesting. I am checking into all options as my insurance does not cover the surgery. What was the cost of your surgery?? I think TJ sounds like a great option. Thanks, Dianne
  4. Hey, you are a gator girl?? I am going to NFRMC. Have been to seminar and getting psych evaluation. Please keep in touch and let me know how things progress. Good luck with your surgery this week!
  5. Hi Samantha, I too am going to do this. I have been to the seminar and my insurance will not cover it. I do know that if your primary Dr. submits info stating all of your medical issues pertaining to your weight that carries a lot of weight( no pun intended) in getting approved. The total cost for mine is $17,000. If it were me I would go to the seminar first because the girls there can tell you if your insurance company normally pays for this. After that you can persue the other Drs. in helping you get approved. Hope this helps some and good luck.
