  1. Ive been looking into them and Im almost done with all test but I too find them shady and Dr. Tashjian has a law suit against him. He had 4 patience pass away in 06 only one was a lap-band.
  2. I was thinking about going to see Dr. Juan Lopez Corvala in Tijuana,Mexico. I was hoping I could talk to a real person that has had there surgery there. My Ins. wont pay cause my BMI is not high enough and I have no health related issues. My BMI is 37 and I feel terrible about myself. Hope somone can help.:biggrin:
  3. I know the feeling , I get frustrated cause I know this is the only way I can accomplish my goal. But they make it so difficult to get it done . I'm like 80lbs isn't heavy enough to get the surgery. Thats the weight of my 8 year old. A whole child!
  4. I've struggled all my life with being over weight and I'm at my wits end trying to lose weight and keep it off. So I want to look into getting the Lap-Band. I'm 5"9 and 225lbs. But I read on some sites thats not heavy enough. Can someone give me a little more insight on how they determine if you are a canidate.
