  2. Good afternoon all, Courtney all the way here from Maine. I have gone to a lapband seminar and have an appt with my primary care physician tomorrow to talk to her about getting the lap band. Im so nervous that she will shoot this idea down. But I have been seeing her for a year now for back issues with no relief from anything she and I have done. The thing that scares me is I DONT have high blood pressure and I DONT have diabetes. But all of it runs in my family. Everyone is obese in my family and have died at such an early age. I feel that if I dont do this for me now then this could be me. Any advise on the conversation with my primary? Thanks so much for reading!!
