    Thanksgiving2008

    Congrads on that loss!! Every lb says goodbye to the old and hello to the new.....but, I started walking, i repeat "walking" not running 5k's. I'll be doing my 5th one on LaborDay @ Texas Motor Speedway...but just walking on the treadmill and trying to watch wat I eat...I did say "trying" sometimes its hard not to do the sugar cals....
  12. just want to say its ok, I felt/feel the same way when i look at how i let myself go...BUT REMEMBER, it's over now and thank God for 2nd chances!

    I'm not sure if Im replying in the right place...but, thanks for you comment.....it's a hard road, and yes I want my choc chip soft cookies every now n then, and I feel it's ok to have them. I see it like I have to learn to beable to handle every type of food with this new life change.....but, NOT 2many of those cookies...lol....btw, you look awesome in your pics.

  15. Hi, im new to this site, I saw your comment on my pic....just wanted you to know I didnt start seeing wt loss until about 4wks after surgery. It will happen, just keep doing what the doctor says and and you'll see the lbs melt away.

    sixe 10 6mos after LapBand

    THANKS so much....well I had lapband this past Dec....I did my 1st 5k WALK not run(lol) in May....I walk on a good week 3days a wk for 45mins on the treadmill...i'll be doing my 4th 5k on LaborDay at Texas Motor Speedway...but thats it, the walking I can see lbs fall off...It's hard, and sometimes it feels like im staying at a number on the scale, but i've told myself to just watch the sizes not the number.

    thanks so much, it s crazy, some days I feel like i've not had any wt loss, even if i seeing the sizes change....then some days i can see the loss...so thanks so much for your comment...i had my lapband surgery in Dec08.
