  1. What weight to you use for your starting weight? Your highest? Your weight when you started the pre-op liquid diet? Your weight on the day of your surgery?
  2. When can I move from a chewable multi-vitamin to a capsule?

    Chewable Vitamins

It's time for me to reorder and I don't want to order chewable a but since I'm just 1 month out that's probably what I'm supposed to do. 4. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks from my bypass surgery and it's time to move on to pureed foods. What were some of the foods that helped you get through this stage? Any favorites?

    Starting number

Thanks everyone! I've decided to use the highest weight I've had since I started the revision approval process. Which was when I started the pre-op diet I'd December for a surgery that was cancelled the day before surgery. HW - 249 SW - 240 CW - 231 Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  7. I am a band to sleeve revision. Got my sleeve almost 3 1/2 yrs ago....never really lost what I gained back and am sure I have stretched my stomach since then. I really want to get my restriction back and get this 30 back off. Can it be done? Any suggestions? Words of encouragement?

    Help! Need to get back!

I'm on day 2 of LilMissDivas bootcamp. So far it's going we'll. I can feel the headache coming on from no sugar/carbs/diet coke. I can get through it. I can make it! The 3 lb loss today was nice but I'm doing this to get back eating correctly, not for the loss. I was pleasantly surprised how not hungry I was yesterday. I'm feeling better about being able to get this weight back off.

    Help! Need to get back!

Thanks! This being a 3 day weekend will be a great chance for me to start.
  10. I hope to see you there. I am planning to go for inspiration as well. I'm still exercising but have not been counting cals lately. Started back today. Scale is still not moving much.

  11. Hey Girl! Are you planning to attend this Wednesday? I think I will unless I'm just exhausted.

  12. Today is the 6 month anniversary of my revision/sleeve surgery. I think I weigh today what I weighed then. Someone told me it would be harder to lose the weight but I was hoping they were wrong. Two weeks ago I really started exercising, counting calories and journaling everything I eat and do. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm getting very discouraged. I KNOW it's just a tool and not a magic bullet, but still, does it have to be this hard?
  13. Congratulations! It will be here before you know it! What is your doctor's name again? I think it may be the same one my friend is looking into.

  14. Well, I had my sleeve surgery on Tuesday, 12/22. Things went very well. Dr. Nick said I had a very small amount of scar tissue from the band and was pleased that my surgery was only abour 15 min. longer than a regular (non-revision) procedure. He said that sometimes they are 2-3 hours longer. They kept me an extra night in the hospital because of some nausea and some low grade fever. My allergies decided to act up so I've been dealing with that too. The nurse practitioner said the drainage from my sinuses is filling my pouch making it harder for me to drink all I should as fast as I could. I'm still feeling pretty blech right now but can tell the stomach swelling is better because drinking is much easier. I probably over did it a little today traveling to my brother's house, but plan to be a vegetable at home the next few days, except for my walking, of course. Thanks for all of your support. The forum has been great and has made things so much easier.
  15. Sorry you won't be able to make it! I'll plan to see some over the summer!

  16. As you probably know by now, I didn't made it. I was just too tired and couldn't face the drive. Hope it was a good meeting! Talk to you soon.

  17. I just came off a 5 week stall. It was not the easiest time to get through but I kept looking at what I was eating and knew there was no way I couldn't lose on the amount I was eating. I just kept telling myself, "Trust the process", and then on my weigh in day last week 4 more pounds were gone. Staying away from the scale is one of the best strategies to get through it. Also, during my stall I was able to get into some jeans that had not fit just a couple of weeks before. Check how your clothes are fitting. Soemtimes things seem to shift around while we are stalled. Good luck and I'll keep my fingers crossed that this stall will end soon!
  18. I weighed yesterday and today and I think my stall has finally ended. I'm almost afraid to say that in case it is just a fluke! Anyway if it's not, I dropped 4.5 pounds and an .5 a pound under 200 (that's 199.5). I'm just crossing my fingers that my scales are correct! I'll feel better when I lose another 2 or so and get farther away from Mr. 200!!
  19. Thanks to you all! I was so afraid it was the scale, I went a bought a new battery last night. I got on the morning and it was 199! WHOOP!! It just needs to keep on movin'!

    Goal!!!

Congratulations DeeDee! I am so happy for you. You are definitely encouraging me to stick with it!
  21. Congratulations girl! You're doing so great!!
  22. What is the best time to take your med? Brkfst, lunch, dinner, bedtime?
  23. I had soreness on my left side close to the large incision. I would especially be sore in the evening after working all day. What I ate didn't seem to affect it. It was more a muscle thing than a stomach thing. I think twobluecats had it, too. It does seem weird that it is starting 6 weeks out. Mine finally went away a few weeks ago after I had that huge "POP" one night. Hope yours feels better soon. It was great seeing you Tuesday!
  24. Congrats Mr. Nick!! How exciting for you and the inches lost are really impressive, too. I've been stuck at 204 for 5 weeks, but today the scale said 199.5. I hope it's really true!
  25. I think I will be able to make it tonight. Wasn't sure for a while. See you then!
