  1. My surgeon says yes, that overall Mexico is even fatter than America! :001_huh: But I think a lot of their experience comes from Americans more than their own country's people.
  2. I'd like to invite myself to the Dallas lunch or dinner in December. I am about 60 miles from Big D. I have surgery scheduled in Monterrey in Nov. but am hoping to get into Dr. Nick's seminar this week to check out options closer to home.:thumbup1:
  3. My surgeon wants me to do a colon cleanse before surgery. I haven't heard anyone on this board mention anything about that. Has anyone else heard of this being a normal/routine preparation for VSG surgery? 27 days til surgery!! Anna
  4. Thanks for your post. I was just whining about having to do the pre-op diet. The dr doesn't require it for my BMI (31) but the patient coordinator recommends it just so the surgery will go smoother and help reduce the risk of nicking the liver. YOur post helped me to decide to definitely do it. THANKS Ladie!
  5. I am new to LBT but am in desperate need of hearing others experiences. I was banded June 15, 2007. Had good steady weight loss. Last October my fill doctor said I had a small stretch. We have watched and taken all the Fluid out, but there has been no improvement. So now she has decided it is a slip instead of just a stretch. My surgeon says he can repair it but thinks I should consider a revision. I do not want an RNY but might consider a sleeve. My first choice is a band. I have read of a lot of people having their band repositioned to only slip again later. Has anyone had a successful repositioning? Thanks, Anna
