  1. Hi. I'm sorry you did not get any replies. I am curious as to how your chat with the doc went and what conclusions (if any) you came to?
  2. Hi there, my name is Jen and I was banded in August of last year. Two months ago my general practitioner put me on an antidepressant and since then I have gradually gained 10 pounds. I am following my diet, I work out religiously, and I even attend weight watcher meetings every week. So I'm pretty sure the change of medication is the reason for my weight gain. I am wondering if anyone else has had such a dramatic weight gain with their band after being put on antidepressants? Sorry if this is a repeat topic. I tried to seach for a similar one and couldn't find anything like it. Thanks for reading!
  3. Hey there. I started weight watchers 2 months ago. I have had 3 fills and with working out and being very careful about my food I'm down 43 pounds. My surgeons likes that I go to weight watchers because she said it will help me eat enough. I usually come within 5-8 points of my daily points (I'm supposed to eat 28 points). My leader knows I've had lap band (the group does not) and I think that weight watchers has really helped me. I joined when my initial weight loss slowed down and I think it was the best thing for me.
