  1. Thanks for your pic comment! Good luck with your surgery - best decision I've ever made for myself. Just remember, it is what you make it. It helps, but you have to help it. :)

    So beautiful! Love ya, chick.
  3. Hey there, thanks for the compliment. I started off at 285 and am about 184 at the moment. I try and keep my calorie intake between 1000-1500 calories a day (i have a protein shake as a meal replacement for breakfast) and i was working out about 6 times a week, but now its down to about 5 since my weekends have become nutty. I try to mix it up with cardio and weights and work out for no less than an hour. I wrote a blog, so check it out on my page for more details.

  4. Never say never!!! Are you banded or in the process? It's hard work, girl, but you just have to focus and put your mind to it. The band only limits the amount of food in intake, but doesnt really limit the kind of food and it certainly doesn't take me to the gym every day. I admit, it gave me the kick in the toosh I needed, but it's up to you. You CAN do this! I'm proof.

  5. Hey there, thanks!!! I'm about a 12 now and feeling great. I still have 40 more pounds to go until my goal. Only tips are, i keep my calorie intake about 1000-1500 a day and work out about 5 times a week mixing up the cardio and the weights. How have you been doing?

  6. Hey there. Congrats on being banded. Best decision I've ever made for myself...really. To answer your question, I workout A LOT...and lots besides kickboxing (I only do that once a week). My workout routine varies, but I try to mix it up my cardio and weights. I work out about 5 days a week. Weights are key. Cardio will help you lose pounds, but if you want to try and avoid the extra skin, you have to build muscle underneath. Also, the muslce helps burn fat, so you're doing yourself a double favor. I have 2 personal trainers that have really helped me along the way (I only work out with them once a week though).

  8. Hey there, thanks! I'm 5'6 and weigh about 184 at the moment (it's been fluctuating between 184 and 187 lately). My goal is about 140-145, so i still have a bit to go. Are you banded?

  9. I know you are but what am I? haha. I'm like 5'6.5 so I'm not that much shorter than you, girlfriend. Especially for it to look like THAT much of a difference. I can't wait until I feel comfortable enough to bare my legs. I'm hoping that happens by the time I leave for Vegas on 7/22. Damn, I have just a little over 2 months to get there. Any workout tips?

  11. Howdy...thanks! I still have a long way to go, but 40 more pounds doesnt seem tooooo bad. I'm hoping to lose another 15-20 by 7/22 (heading out to vegas baby). Whats going on with you?

  12. Girl, you know my life is full of madness, especially on the weekends and especially now that I have tons of things to plan...moving...wedding...etc. I'll be close to you soon though...probably by end of summer. Then for sure we will have to hang more.

  16. The first couple of days are the hardest. Each day is a little better and a little easier. I was really sore by where my port is for the first couple of days and was pretty hard to get out of bed or stand, by the third day I was walking around and doing much better.

  17. Hey girl, congrats and welcome to your new life! There is a long road ahead, but with some hard work and focus, I'm sure you will do great! Keep me posted on how your feeling and your progress.
