Hi everyone, I haven't been on in a while. I just had my first fill of 4 cc in a 10 cc realize band today. Doing protien shakes today. I had to wait for fill because I had a trip to disney in florida and the doc wanted to wait till after. I had my surgery sept 22 so I'm kind of behind all of you. I have lost 42 lbs since first visit to doc in Febuary. My little chihuahua died while I was on vacation, she was 8 years old and has been sick a long time but I am still heartbroken. My husband and I wanted another one right away, missing her too much!!! We found one in Virgina and are driving down to get her Friday and coming home Saturday. I start soft food Friday and solid Saturday so I'm kind of worried how this is going to go being away from home and all. Oh well, life happens and we have to adjust to many new situations I guess. I don't get a fill until nov 25, because the doc wanted to give one the second week of nov but i am going to disney nov14 and didn't want to go with new fill in case of problems. So I am hungry all the time. Can't wait for fill. Hope I don't have that problem also. Donna

Where do you find support forum for sept 2009???? I scrolled down and found nothing. I also am still not losing. I started excercising and that is still not moving weight. For the people that are putting themselfs back on liquids, I don't think that's a good idea since we have been instructed to follow doc plans for a reason. To reintroduce our new stoma to solids slowly over a period of weeks. If you are on liquids and then get a fill and try to go right to solids there may be complications!!!!! My doc said not to worry about losing right now, we are all still healing inside and the inside takes longer to heal than the outside. Donna

thank you, glad to hear that it's ok and I am not alone. Eating so little and not losing is not any fun!!!! Still hungry after I eat. Then have to wait to drink to try to fill the void.

I just got a call from personal trainer confirming appt for tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it because I hate exercising. I have not lost anything since starting mushies on thurs. I keep gong u ad down with the same 2 lbs. The same thing happened with the last 2 lbs. Anyone else have this problem?

hi, i was banded o set 22. I just found this group and its nice to read about people that are at the same stages as me. I have lost 27 lbs since first doc visit 6 months ago mostly since pre op diet two weeks before surgery. Only 6 lbs. since surgery. Doc said its normal because I am not restricted yet. First fill will be on Nov 25. Could have been sooner but will be at Disney with family right before that so Doc doesn't want me to go to Florida right after a fill in case of problems. I am on mushies now and get hungry a lot, but am trying very hard to be good. Bandster Hell for sure!!!! Donna
