  1. Good luck! I have a three year old as well who loves to be picked up! I think I will have difficulties as well with that after the surgery...along with giving up my diet coke/pepsi. The nurse made it sound like it is really uncomfortable to drink diet soda after the band?
  2. My surgeon was the one that wrote my letter to the insurance company.
  3. Don't worry! This is the time you have to be strong! I am just going through the beginning stages right now -- I haven't had my surgery yet, but i've talked to a lot of people. The time before your first fill is the time you have to use whatever will power you have to get through. If you can get through this, you will be unstoppable!!!
