I had an unsuccessful gastric bypass several years ago. Then recently I met Dr. Mehta who is going to band me on August 26th. I have a long history of obesity. I am a 3 year thyroid cancer survivor. Not having a thyroid has added to the weight problem. I first gaind weight many years ago while starting meds for depression. I also have a history of Polycystic overies. All this making it so hard to loose the weight.
