  1. I agree with elcee. I went to my intro meeting in Dec and it took until April before I decided to do the surgery. I was just at 40 BMI before surgery on the 28th of July and at my 1 week post op I had lost 13 lbs since my first day on liquids prior to surgery. I would have thought the same thing as you Shannie, but I know I have failed every "diet" and regained. I am 57 and this was my last chance to do it right. I am happy I made the choice. I start puree food tomorrow and in a week or 2 soft/solid food. My first fill is on Sep 9th.
