  1. I'm also in Ft. Hood and just got banded in July. It's been interesting so far but I'm taking it one day at a time. I think the easiest part is getting banded because Lord knows it's been a struggle so far....
  2. So....I just got banded on July 31st of this year and I've been doing pretty good. No fills yet but I've still been losing weight. Well along with this weight loss I've noticed that my hair is starting to fall out a lot. Like when I brush it or when I shower. No bald spots or anything like that, but it feels like alot. I know my dr. mentioned that I would be losing a little bit of hair but I never thought it'd be like this. What can I take for this or is there something I can do to make it stop falling out?? BTW, I'm taking my multi-vitamins like I was told.
  3. I got banded on July 31st, and got tired of the liquid part of the diet and went on to the mushy stage after 5 days. I am now doing the pureed/soft food diet part and I'm loving it. For lunch I'm having broiled tilapia (seasoned to taste) and steamed broccoli (very well steamed) almost falls apart in my mouth. I use the I can't believe it's not butter spray and It wokrs wonderful for the taste. And of course like everyone else has mentioned don't forget to give small bites and chew everything real good...just watch everything will go down just fine as long as you follow those rules.
