  4. Thank you guys so much for all of your definately appreciated advice and i am definately going to look into all of my options. Like i have said the trip to mexico actually scares the crap outta me..but i have heard so many good things about specific doctors there..and honestly the fear of dying really outweights some of my other fears about location. i am 29 and 368..i have 3 children and want to have a long healthy life with them. It is definately a case of rolling the dice. In the same sence im doing the same sitting here in the us not being able to afford some of these high unimaginable prices here where i live. i know the decision should not be based on price but 7 thousand is alot more obtainable than 21 thousand. Thanks again. i just signed up here the other day and i am so happy that there is a group of people here who have had the same struggle as me.
  5. I have definately decided on going to Mexico..from here i just need to make the right decision on the Doctor. I have been researching Dr. Kuri. He has been doing it for 11 years and has performed over 4000 bands. The hospital seems to be nicer than anything ive seen here in pensacola fl. I am just worried about the fills as well...im worried that i would have to travel every time i need an adjustment to Mexico. If anyone has any info on fills in the US after a Mexico surgery please let me know. I know that here the doctors wont do it.
  6. Is that closer and easier to get to? If you dont mind me asking what is the around about cost for going there? I just found out the other day so i havnt gotten to much info yet. Thank you for your reply.
  7. Hello my name is Kerry and i live in pensacola florida.. i have been researching the idea of going to see dr kuri to help my in my journey. I am a little nervous of going to mexico and dont want to make a rash decision. I have not heard anything bad about dr kuri or his staff but have heard scary stories about Mexico..If you could help in any way i would appreciate it.. thanks for listening..
  8. I am interested in hearing anything known about going to Dr. Kuri who is in Tijuana Mexico to get the lap band done. :sneaky:
  9. Hello my name is Kerry and i live in Florida. I am trying my hardest to find a way to get this procedure done. I was going through a 12 month program that my insurance required then the sent me a letter telling me that they switched things up..well that switch totally affected my surgery..they are no longer covering any sort of bariatric procedure. Of course i am dissapointed but still looking for another avenue. Hopefully something will happen soon.:sneaky:
