I haven't heard about Dr. Kuri but I have heard good things about Dr. Ortiz. I live in San Diego, and if insurance didn't cover it I would definitely consider him.

I know there are several threads about choosing a Mexican doctor. I would find out all that I can before making a choice.

Good Luck!

I've heard good things about Dr. Ortiz as well. However, Mexicali is a much safer place at this time and Dr. Alberto Aceves is excellent.

I am going to Tijuana to Dr. Liza Maria Pompa Gonzales. Everyone there seems very nice and have been very helpful and informative. I have asked them a slew of questions. Does anyone else know anythiing about her?

My husband and I both had our surgeries by Dr. Kuri. Dr. Kuri and all his team are great. They are all caring individuals. And we stayed at Angeles Hospital and that hospital is very nice and clean.

Good Luck!
