  4. Wow Mini!!! That is so fantastic!! That reminds me to update my measurements. Great job!!
  5. I need some advice. I'm still losing weight consistently but at a very slow rate. I'm losing 1/2 pound every other day. Seems like that has been the standard for the last couple of weeks (possibly 3 weeks). At that rate...it will put me losing 7 pounds every 28 days. Does this seem like a good weight loss or does it seem very minimal to anyone else? I am walking a minimum of one mile per day. I've made my 64 ozs of fluids all but about 3 days in the last 3 weeks. Is there anything I should be doing different to bring up the weight loss, or is this going to be my typical loss over the next months? Here's a brief overview of my calorie intake: Feb 13 Cal: 731 Fat: 31 Carbs: 34 Pro: 77 Feb 14 Cal: 498 Fat: 21 Carbs: 37 Pro:41 Feb 15 Cal: 732 Fat: 31 Carbs: 39 Pro: 73 Feb 16 Cal: 612 Fat: 21 Carbs:32 Pro: 75 Feb 17 Cal: 565 Fat: 15 Carbs: 31 Pro: 77 Feb 18 Cal: 703 Fat: 24 Carbs: 28 Pro: 93 Feb 19 Cal: 535 Fat: 13 Carbs: 24 Pro: 77 Feb 20 Cal: 567 Fat: 13 Carbs: 30 Prot 79 Any advice or input would be appreciated.

  7. Thanks for sharing your pics! I can't tell you how motivating it is for all of us to see those. It helps us to stay the course. Thanks again.
  8. Congratulations on getting your sleeve. Best wishes for a very speedy recovery.

That's fantastic. By the time you have surgery, you will just ease into it with no problem. Good to hear you are doing ok.
  11. Congrats and thanks for sharing. Sounds like you are off and running.
  12. I just bought the Bullet about a month ago. I love it!! It does everything I need it to do. I do like the little containers with lids, as most of the time I can barely eat half of what I make. I just put the lid on it in the same container that I used to blend it and then use it later.
  13. Congratulations! That's one of my goals, is to be off the BP meds.
  14. katldy, you'll be just fine and of course all the emotions and non sleep are pretty typical for most heading to surgery. It's ok to feel those things. As far as sleep goes, I used an over the counter Melatonin. I bought mine at WalMart. It seemed to work really well for me. In the past I have used Tylenol PM because I've always had problems sleeping, but the Melatonin has worked also. Best wishes to you on your journey,

  18. Yes loser, that's what Dr Aceves recommended I get in place of my Nexium.
  19. I want to try the pork rinds but I'm so scared they will be dry since we can't drink. Do they go down ok without drinking anything?
  20. Loser, Dr. Aceves sent us home with Nexium, but since I've had to increase my dosage due to the blood clots and the fact that I'm taking aspirin everyday, he suggested I by Prilosec. He said it is basically the same thing. So right now I am taking Nexium in the morning and prilosec in the evenings.
  21. I decided to go ahead and order these products now and start using them. I'll report back to let everyone know if I see any changes in hair condition and growth. I haven't started losing my hair yet, but I know it's just around the corner and since I have very thin hair to begin with I thought I'd be proactive and start these products ahead of time. I'll keep you all posted.
  22. He finally moved!!! yaaahoooooo Cajun, congrats!!!!
