I am right with you Kai. Never did I think I would EVER have surgery in Mexico. I am also a research guru and never found anything negative on Dr. Aceves. I was sleeved just 2 weeks ago by Dr. Aceves on 12/19/09 and I am doing great! My mom came with me and she was quite bitter about it (being Mexico and all). By the end of our time, I think she is not Dr. Aceves' biggest cheerleader! I should have her post a testimonial! You have NOTHING to fear. The only NEGATIVE thing my mom had to say was...they didn't have a bath tub. She likes her baths in the morning and they only have showers. Ha! Good luck to you!! Kim:thumbup:

You said you were going to post something about your experience in Mexico. I'm interested in hearing your story. I go to Dr. Aceves in Mexicali on Dec. 19th for the sleeve. I've heard tons of great things about him and have no fears about going. Who was your doctor? Did you have any problems aside from your incision?
