    No ER for Dehydration

Thank for all the replies. Just wanted to give a briefing! I was banded on 7-10-06. Down 23 lbs. About 2 weeks ago I woke up from a nap with the right side of my face feeling funny, then the next day some tingling in arm and hand. I went to a neurologist......Brain MRI, Cerival spine MRI, bloodwork, eeg all NEG. Thank God. I have a follow up next week. but in the meantime I think I figured out I was dehydrated. Especially since some of you experienced the same thing. Please tell me some of your own symptoms, so I can make sure I'm right!! Since my post the other day, I've been drinking a lot a water and have been feeling a little better! Thanks again for the replies.

    going for first fill

Hello fellow banders. I had my lap band surgery 7/10/06, in South Nassau Hospital, NY. I'm going for my first fill on friday 9/1/06. I already lost about 22lbs. clothes fit better and people are starting to notice. It's a nice feeling. I was wondering about the first fill. Will I be restricted as I was when the band was first put in? In the last week or so, I felt as if I could eat much more. (if i eat very slow) but I don't want that opportunity. Any infor will help. Thanks:o

    just saying hello

I had lap band surgery, july10th. I'm down about 12 lbs. I wanted to discuss eating alittle. I feeling myself "picking". A little ice cream here, a chicken nugget there. I don't think I should be doing this! Also, my body does tell me when I need to stop. I start gagging! Anyway, I think I should be loosing more than this. Even though I'm picking, the calorie intake is so little. Shouldn't the weight be coming off quicker?? Thanks in advance for any advice.
