Good luck to all the April 8th peeps

Tomorrow is the day. It is hard to believe it is finally here. I've watched so many here move through their journey, any it's my turn. Words cannot express the feelings I have. I am humbly grateful, and I feel a strange since of peace. I'm exactly where I am suppose to be. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes. I wish everyone coming behind me well. In less than 8 hours I'll be headed to my hospital to get my lifestyle change too.. I'm so nervous..

14 hours my life will change forever woooo hooooo doing the happy dance. Good luck to all the other surgery peeps.

Home from the hospital! I feel so much better just being here in a comfy chair! Still super sore and swollen but that is to be expected. Feeling a lot better with the walking!! Especially when the took out the drain tube... That made me feel like a brand new person once gone. Ended up with 145 laps around my bariatric center floor, which come to fine out was 5.36 miles!!! I couldn't believe it. I was just doing it cause it was more comfortable for me. And I couldn't sit in the room anymore!

Day 1 at home went okay... So much more comfortable in my bed! I slept like I was in a coma... I drank 1 Isopure and 1 -8 Oz Protein Shake made with skim milk to met over 80 Protein. For some reason, I craved skim milk to drink and was able to drink another 8 ozs.. Sipped Water all day. So far so good, and lost 10 lbs since my hospital stay. I'm feeling do much better

My date is April 29th....yay!!!!!

Last night went well. Woke up with some gas pains in my chest and back, but sitting up and walking around a bit helped. I'm not needing every dose of the pain meds. The doc just stopped by and said he's starting the discharge paperwork! Yay!!! Just remember everyone, keep up with your walks and your liquids (sip sip sip!) and you're golden

How are the April 1st people doing today??? Anxious to hear more about your experiences! As I look at all our posts and replies, I am amazed about what a great group we have. A lot of GREAT support here everyone, with no judging as I see a lot on other threads. yay for the April group!

Hey all! I have been sleeping on and off all day and feel like I tried to do way too many sit-ups, but things went so well!!! They told me I was a champ, so fingers crossed for a speedy recovery!

Me too. The lap band did not. I felt starved for two years till they loosened it and I gained weight back but felt full. So far the other band to bypassers say it's nothing like the band so I pray my hunger disappears in one week!

I do this too. I used to love clothes. Now I wear what fits. I can't wait to wear something because I like it and not because it covers my skin!

I am hoping that our April 1st'ers are doing great today. Very excited to see some posts when they are feeling well enough! Fingers crossed for no pain and great success!

Happy easter all of us are getting closer

Done with pre op. Now just a week and a half till sx!!

Some how i quit smoking and soda on the same day lol its been 259 days now going strong noy sure how i did it.

I called the advanage number and there sending me out a kit and what not. Hopefully ican find one i like
