Hey my surgery was on 8/17/09, and believe me you will have weight loss!! It takes a while to heal but I would do it all over againg if I had the choice! Good Luck!!

Yes I do have my date!!! August 17th next Monday and I am so excited! I can hardly wait..it is good to hear that you feel it is the best descision of your life, talking to so many other banders, they are always talking about the negative points of the surgery such as what they can't eat, and how it's totally changed their lives...but I kinda think to myself isn't that the point!!? Anyways I think you look great and I hope that I have as much progress as you do once it is all over and done with.

Hello everyone! I am really excited bout this new chapter in my life, and I am looking forward to all the new experiences that are to come. I know this is not going to be an easy journey and at times I am going to ask myself WTH I was thinking but I have to do this for myself, and the people I love!
