  1. Teresa- I got my band on May 11th. I had a few complications after surgery, my incision didn't heal well. So it actually put me behind schedule as far as getting my first fill. I haven't had much restriction at all so the weight that I have lost has been all me and tougher than snot! I did finally get my first fill last Friday. I have noticed a little change but again not much so don't be disappointed if the first fill doesn't do much. He put the max per fill allowed in but if I am not careful what I eat then I could really get myself in trouble. I get a second fill next Tuesday so I am hoping that it will get me going. Let me know if you have other questions. Sounds like I am just one step ahead of you in the process. Good luck! Stacy
