    Any Brisbane bandsters?

Hey Chickie I thought your face looked familiar...that's so funny. I live up near the big golf ball on the hill (you'll know what I mean). Your story is such an inspiration. Good on ya girl!!! Feeling bit dishearted at the moment. I'm hungry and picking at food and my other half telling I'm going to stretch my stomach and ruin the band and its all just s***. Any words of encouragement. I could do with something right now. Eating normally, just no where near a much. These dietician's just dont seem to have a clue so I just stop when I feel full, surely listening to what my body is telling me is the best indication. Fill not till the 20th. I need tighting up. Allowing too much crap through, I know I am, but sometimes I just can't stop myself

    Medicare items numbers????

Cool and email the receptionist at the surgery and ask about the item numbers.
  9. Hi everyone, Does anyone understand how this item number 30511 works. I am scheduled to have my surgery on the 21st of this month and I am having it done privately in a public hospital to keep the cost down as I do not have private health cover. So I am paying for the surgeon, the band, the anethetist and the night in hospital. What is this item number for. Can I claim on it and are there any other item numbers that may be useful. You guys are an endless well of info on most things so please can you help with this. Sarah

    Tattoos and weightloss

Only time will tell I guess. If they do go funny I'll pas them off as some modern art, through acid eyes looking tattoo. I dont know, I care but it is not the most important thing the most important thing is this surgery, I am so excited about it got a call this morning to say that it has been brought forward to the 21st of this month was orginally scheduled for mid december. I tried to update my ticker but I think it has all gone wrong but I dont care.....16 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbup:
  12. I am interested to hear from anyone with tattoos how their weight loss has effected the tattoos. I am due to be banded around Xmas and I have quite a few tattoos..a full arm sleeve, all across shoulders and chalves. I am worried they are going to becuase misshapped and look after the weight loss....any feedback from anyone would be greatly appreciated

    lapbanders called cheats

Do you wanna know what I think 'em. This is our battle. I am doing this for me...for my family....for my kids. For my health and our future. I don't give a rats's  what anyone else thinks. They can think what they like and i'll do exactly as I please. I'm paying for the surgery, it is my body. Why do these people care? Do they not have lives of there own to be concerned with instead of worrying about me??? Strange people, and they call us!?!?!? I have this tatto on my chest it is for people like this it says. Illegitimi Non Carabundum

    Any Brisbane bandsters?

Hey Bel, So how is the band worked for you. Hey all, I am so excited and nervous all at the same time. All these posts about needing tummy tucks and stuff is a bit concerning and I have lots of tattoos too worried they are all going go warp and sag and look horrible when losing weight. Any tip, ideas or personal experiences about this the tattoo are a full sleeve on my arm and across my shoulders and lower legs (yeah there's a few of them)
