  5. yeah, the nausea was way gone, since dec. but i wont be getting a fill till after i get my gallblader removed, its been causing me pain here and there and i've had two attacks and the most recent one was the worst so far, so the doc said itd be best to get it removed now b/c the next one could be even worse

  6. That sucks, is the nausea gone yet? Will you get a fill if the nausea stops?

  7. thats awesome well i kinda not all happy about it, been through hell with it, its really doing nothing for me right now, i have no fills and i wasnt able to get any because i had severe nausea for 2 and a half months, its going to be one year july 31st and didnt even lose much, 28-40 pounds, and now im gaining some back..ugh

  8. I see this was posted back in March, sorry I didn't realize I got ur message! Yes, Dr. Hill did my surgery back in March. I am really pleased with it two months out! And what about yourself???

    Marijuana Use After Surgery

I think that however you reacted to smoking before the surgery is the same post-op. I smoked one week after and had a great time. Just be sure to consider what it did to you before the band, if you got the munchies easily, I'm sure the band hasn't changed that. They gave me Vicedin for pain after the surgery-if you ask me that is way more addictive and causes more liver damage than weed ever could! lol Good luck Cheech!

    Wanting to binge......

I can totally relate-that night time between dinner and sleep is difficult for me when it comes to food. I cannot believe how much I forget about food now two weeks after being banded, but I do think about eating a lot at certains times. Usually stress or bordom trigger this. The fact is food is an addiction and it basically needs to be replaced with another addiction-hopefully a healthy one. It really is like AA - "take one day at a time" or one minute or one even one second! Good luck! you cak do this!
  12. hey, so you're getting your surgery done by Dr. Hill at saranac lake/adironack medical center?
