  1. Thanks for the feedback. I am back in Spokane (I live in Walla Walla Washington) Wednesday for my first post op appointment. I will put wine down along with my other questions.
  2. I was banded on 9/2 in Spokane Washington! Feeling pretty good right now. I am curious about how long to wait before enjoying a glass of wine.
  3. I am a week away from being banded, and 1 week into the 2 week protein shake phase. I am wondering what foods/liquids to have on hand after my September 2 banding.
  4. Thanks for the suggestion Jason. I am in Walla Walla and Rockwood was recommended by my primary care dr. I have a friend who went to Spokane as well. I have done all my piliminary work with Dr. Rawlings and was happy with his treatment. I am now just waiting to hear back from the pysch and hopefully have a date soon.
  5. I am awaiting all the pre-screening results from Rockwood in Spokane Washington, I actually live a couple hours away. Waiting is frustrating it has been almost 2 weeks. I have called the nurse but haven't heard back. Anyone else going through Rockwood Clinic?
  6. I finished with pre-screening this week. Now it is a waiting process for the pysch to get their report in. That can take 10 days or so. If I have the go ahead then a meeting with the dr. and dietitian and a surgery date! I am soooo excited.
  7. I am sure my family will do the same. I am getting ready to go to Spokane WA in a couple days for all the pre-op appointments...I guess I should say something. They will ask where I am
  8. Thank for the suggestion...did you tell your family/friends when you went in for pre-op or when you had your surgery appointmen?
  9. I will have to let my family know soon. I head to Spokane WA this Wednesday for all of my pre-op appointments. I am spending the night since it is 3 hours from home. Anything I should know for the two days of pre-op?
  10. I am struggling with how to inform my family and friends that I am going through the pre stages, let alone that I am going to be banded. Any suggestions? All of my appointments are a couple hours away so hard to keep it all to myself. I am not sure if I want to let them know before I have a date or not...
  11. I am new to all of this...I have my pre-op appointments this week. Hope to have a surgery date in a few weeks. I am excited to get my life back.
