I used Dr. Duncan because I was self-pay. I'm down 15 but I am at a stand still right now. I go for my first fill on 10/13! I can't wait!

Hi Keping the Faith.....I am new here. I have my consultation on Monday but I had 2 questions for you if you don't mind. How long did you have to wait before your initial consultation and your actual surgery? Also, How hard was it going from solid food to just liquids?

Hi Ms Mississippi. I wanted to start off by saying you look great! You are such an inspiration. I am being banded on 9/2. I am excited as well as extremely nervous! Did you have any struggles after you were banded? What is your meal and exercise plan? Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. By the way my family also lives in Mississippi. wow! to be honest I'm not sure who my doc is but my appointment is at The Center for True Results on Peachtree. Who is your dr? I would rather go to someone who I know is satisfied and confortable with their dr.

Hello Soror! Just wanted to let you know that I got my date of September 2. I am so excited. I was also concerned about how to address my weight loss once it becomes noticable. I teach and we go back on 8/3. Then a month later I will be banded. Just a little concerned on how to address the weight loss.

Hi there...I am also from Atlanta. We are practically neighbors if you live in Faurburn! I am going for the seminar tomorrow.

It went well...my insurance wouldn't cover the procedure because my BMI isn't high enough and I dont have any other comorbidity. I decided to go through Credit Care so I go back this week. Hopefully I will know something when I go back. I'm hoping to get banded in early September.
