  3. Just wondering if anyone knows if it matters what size port you have?? Also, I was informed today that my port would be attached with surgical mesh?? She said this method seems to keep the port in place better and less tenderness in the port area. Thanks for your help! Sherry
  4. I have researched,,,,,tried everything to talk myself out of it,,,but I just believe this may be the the way I would be able to keep off the weight!!! I just believe that after I lose the weight this time,,,this tool could help me keep it off. I know I am much healthier/happier at a lower bmi/weight. I know that I should be able to control my weight! I also know that because I can not, it is a disease that controls me. I guess that is why I really want to beat it!!!!

  10. Help!!! Just found out that I would have to self pay because I do not have two co-morbidities. LapBand really seems like a great tool. Just looking for info. Fear of something going wrong, however, I want to take the chance. Thanks
  11. I hope you are doing better since you 7/2 release. I have just found out that I would have to self-pay, which I am considering. However, I am wondering if insurance would pay for follow ups after the first year and or emergency and or removal. The Dr office said yes to the follow-ups. The insurance person said she doubted it???? Just wondering if you found out that information???' Trying to come up with my decision. Thanks for your help and best of luck Sherry
