  1. do you think, from the survey so far, that certain food restrictions are common to most people who have or had bands?? And also that getting a lap-band surgery is a question of luck if it works ok or not...See, when I was lap banded I vomited a lot but I also vomited a lot when I was pregnant and was skinny, gained only7 kilos in my pregnancy,so after I had the band removed I am trying to eat healthier and natural food. All in all, i am going totally natural. My doctor is well known here as one of the best surgeons on bariatric surgeries and he said i was one of his best patients, did everything as told...went to a follow up with 12 other specialties doctors, psychologist and psychiatrist..so where did this damm thing went wrong? I am sure there is an answer to that and i will write to you when i find out..I was told that surgeries are only effective if the person eats normaly LARGE portions when obese...I was obese but ate small portions many times a day. Please think about that and include that on the survey. Thanks, Adel from Brazil.:tongue2:
  2. It does not matter the country...I am brazilian and had same problems with the band. I am just curious to know what happens now...one thing i am sure.. i will go back to yoga, acupucture, complement medicine, go nature and discover the reason for the obesity to begin with.Good luck, please continue your story. I think it was worth usint the band for 3 years, lost only ten pounds but my bloodpresure is normal, as well as other levels.Adel
