  1. I have my surgery August 20th. I started this process in January. (frustratring but inretorspect beneifcial. It gave me time to properly educate myself and really think things thru.) I got approval on 08/04 and bam, saw the nutrionist the next day and we're off.... Started my pre-op liquid diet yesterday. Already trying to think of creative ways to make my liquids more appealing. (Have to strain the cream of mushroom soup... are those little mushrooms that bad?) I'm sitting next to a coworker who is eating a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit for Breakfast, and I want to cut them. HaHa. I'm a little nervous now that it its right around the corner and would love to talk to anyone that is going through the same thing.
