  1. Today it has been one month. It has been an eventful month. The last week has been a challenge, I eat what I want. - i hurt sometimes when I eat. I don't eat anywhere close to the foods or the amount of food I use to - I just haven't lost anymore weight. The other thing is I am not getting full. - Hint from reading blogs I think I need a fill. I go back to the dr. in 2 weeks, it isn't going to come soon enough. Some days are hard, everyone knows I have had this surgery and they are expecting the pounds to just pile off I guess. I have increased my physial activity - so maybe we will get it all figured out - one month out - i feel good- just wanting to see some results for putting myself through this and my family. I am still excited, and will continue down this path until my goals have been conquered.

  3. I want to say that after reading these posts I feel almost normal - I am 1 month out - today - I have lost 13 pounds, The dr. didn't do a fill because of the weight lost - but the 13 pounds I have lost were in the first 2-3 weeks. NOTHING in week 4. I am so frustrated and I was really beginning to think all of this was for nothing. I have an appointment in 2 weeks - I am pretty sure with the no weight loss I will get a fill. I can't wait for that light bulb.
  4. It has been three weeks since I was banded, how my life has changed - I am down 15 pounds - I am happy - I just hope the weight continues to come off. I have changed eating habits - ok - so i didn't follow the recommended diet - But I am still doing good - Dr. didn't yell at me when I told him that i was eating already. He said I was doing so well he wasn't going to fill. I go back in a month. I still have these fears of all the times I was on Weight Watchers - where the weight starts to come off - then slowly comes back - This really has to work.
