The staples were really not a problem, a little tender, and bending is tough. They didn't hurt at all coming out! The 24hr stay really is nice, they make sure you are comfortable and medicated for any pain, and to prevent nausea.

Thanks for the kind words of support. I want to tell you I was very impressed with the care and the staff at Hurley. I am not from Flint so it is not our normal hospital, but I have been bragging them up to everyone. You have nothing to be nervous about on the 31st. Good look, hope to hear how you are doing. Can you tell me how to get my ticker tape going?????

Hello Everyone, This is my first time here, have been reading post and trying to figure out how to join. I was banded 4/24/07 Dr. Farhan Hurley Hospital Flint, MI I am a 56 year old grandma raising two grandchildren. I am employed full time as a parts manager in a automobile dealership. I am very excited about moving forward now that I have my band. I have already lost 26 pounds...YEAH. I feel great, and already have more energy and don't require as much sleep. I'm lovin it
