I was 8 years old when I went on my first diet. I remember where I was sitting as I gulped down the chocolate drink my mother gave me. As I sat in the rocking chair, I thought to myself I can’t drink this stuff. So there I was, on my first diet and my first defeat. That first day, I gave up. The old joke around my house is that I have been on a diet every Monday for the past 21 years. Atkins, Grapfruit, Slimfast, South Beach, Protein, Low Fat, Low Carb, Pills, Shots just to name a few. I have had some successful attempts but I have decided that enough is enough. I am tired of fighting a battle I continue to lose over and over again. Last summer I asked God to send me an answer. I woke up one morning and the word Lap came to me. I thought this is it! Unfortunately I made the mistake of telling a couple of friends. They talked me out of the surgery so I decided it wasn’t for me. Exactly a year later the Lord spoke to me again. This time, I knew what I had to do.  I decided that this is the life God has given me and me only. It’s up to me to do what I want to do with it. So with tons of research and prayer, I booked an appointment with True Results. Everything fell into place. I am excited about my surgery. I know the journey will not be easy but I am willing to take a step and discover the person I was destined to be.
