  1. I am 4 1/2 weeks post op, I take a birth control pill everyday...I haven't missed one since my surgery. Am I protected from pregnancy? Is there something in the medicine they give us at the hospital that could cancel out my birth control? Thank You,
  2. I am 4 weeks post op and I still burp all the time...does anybody else have this issue?
  3. I still take my pill everyday, the first day after surgery I grinded it up but that was pointless, from that day on I have taken it and it has gone down just fine. The pill is so small. Now tylenol is impossible =)
  4. I crave green beans all the time, not sure why. I never used to eat them in the past, now I rather eat them for dinner or lunch. I have also tried some of my old favorite's and you are right I don't get the same satifaction out of it like I used to.
  5. I am almost 4 weeks post op and having serious issues with my Vitamins. They are so gross and the texture makes me gag. Does anybody know how long I will be on the chewables? When can I swollow a whole Vitamin or will that never be able to happen? Thank you,
  6. I have gotten used to it, the only problem I am having is that after that 30 minutes I am not thirsty anymore and have to remind myself to take a sip.
  7. OMG I am going thru the same thing I am in my 3rd week as well and I have had really no trouble with taking anything in or even the quantity of food I eat. I can't wait til I get my first fill, I need that restriction.
  8. Thank you guys for your support, I think I am getting mainly head hungers for sure. I think I am starting to freak out and realize that I am actually doing this so my old habits are trying to break thru like telling myself ooohhh it is okay to eat that. One day at a time right guys?
  9. I am In my third week post op so I can eat pretty much anything. I haven't had a fill yet and I can't control myself from eating everything. Anybody else having this same issue? Any clues on what I can do to help manage this. :thumbup:
  10. I am going to stay on plan today cuz I am worth it. I am just in the beginging of my banding process but I have made the decision to continue to a healthier me. Cheers to protein shakes :wink2:
  11. Hello my name is Jen, I am getting banded on June 29 I am super excited and nervous all at the same time. I am on day two of my liquid diet, yesterday was so difficult but today it seems so much better. I woke up this morning feeling great!!
  12. That is what I am afraid of, mine is so supportive of my surgery on June 29th but I am afraid that once I start losing weight I will lose him as well. Is there away to avoid this?
