  1. I don't know if it was a defective port, but I also had to get mine removed. my band slipped and was not able to eat for a couple of weeks. I was dehydrated and lost tons of weight. The Dr. Finally said that I had to get it removed. This happened back 11/4/10 and believe it or not. I will be getting it reinstalled 11/17/11 a year later.. it sucks becasue i lost tons of weight and back to where I first started : ( i try to eat well and excersice.. and nothing the weight still keeps on to creap up..

wish me luck and hopt this is the right decision that i am making .. AGAIN....

  2. I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MY BROTHER AND HE IS TRYING TO CONVINCE ME NOT TO GET THE LAP BAND. TELLING ME THAT I CAN DO IT ON MY OWN.. HELLO.. LIKE I HAVEN'T TRIED TO LOOSE WEIGHT ALL MY LIFE.AT ONE POINT I WAS 50 LBS HEAVIER,AND I DID LOOSE THOSE POUNDS,BUT I CAN'T SEEM TO GET ON THE BALL AGAIN.... I HAVE BEEN A CHUNKY MUNKY FOR YEARS. IT IS FRUSTRATING TO ME WHEN MY FAMILY IS NOT ON MY SIDE. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE FAMILY OR FRIENDS THAT ARE LIKE THAT?
