  1. I have not been banded yet, just finished my final appointment. But I wanted to say THANK YOU for this topic and thank you for all the honest posts. I very much enjoyed reading your reply's and will refer back to these if and when I get approved by my insurance and go through all the phases that you spoke about.
  2. Too funny, I have not been banded yet but I too have practiced chewing. Several people in my life have had the surgery and mentioned chewing a lot longer and said it helps. I still have to complete 1 more appointment and then we see if my insurance will approve me.
  3. I am just starting my journey with the Band and I would appreciate any suggestions on best protein drink and anything else you can think of. I have been working out 4 days a week and practicing chewing my food 20-30 times.
