Thanks for the welcome. I had my first consultation today, the one with just the staff - no doctor. I was pleased with how things went as far as the staff was concerned. There is an abnormality on my EKG, so I have to schedule with a local cardiologist for a stress test. sharonjimmy95, you should be able to go to tickerfactory.com, pick one, and I think it normally gives you the "code" or text for it. Hi all from southeast Texas. I've recently been approved for a Care Credit card that will allow me to pay for lapband. I am going through True Results in Houston TX (True Results | Lap Band Surgery & Bariatric Weight Loss Procedure Center). I'm still debating on the doctor, but have leaned significantly towards Dr. Hadar Spivak. Everyone seems to think highly of him. I "trolled" on here for a little while as I was deciding if I should, where I should go to, etc. There is a tremendous amount of information to be had here. I figured it was time to register. Looking forward to talking and learning from everyone
