  1. I my name is Karen and i was banded on Feb. 8 2010. When i was at the hospital my chest hurt alot my doctor said it was normal because i had tubes down my throat. Since being home I have been getting really bad gas pains, so i been walking at the mall on at the gym, everytime I move I get a shortness of breath, as well I feel it alot more when i try to burb. I talked to the nurse and she said it is normal. I am truly not trying to freak out and I know and anticipated that there would be some discomfort and abnormalities going on with my body, but I didn't anticipate this. Have anyone experience the same thing and if so where there meds to help with the chest pains because the one my doctor prescribed does nothing for my chest pains I am sure it would help for my stomache if it hurt but i don't have pains where my incessions are on my stomache so drinking the med in my opinion is useless.
