Hey girl, I just wanted to see how things have been going for you, and if you were able to break your stall yet? I'm still stuck, and have tried everything...I hope we start losing again soon!! It is a little discouraging to have the weight loss stall so quickly after surgery...gosh we can barely eat, how can we not be losing weight??? Take care

Wow, you look great!! I have hit a stall too...and it sux!! I guess it comes with the territory, and all we can do is hope it will end soon! Glad to hear everything else is going great. Sounds like your doing great! I can't wait to start eating with the family again, I still got another week on mushies. I get the hiccups too, they can get irritating but now I know how my daughter felt...lol! I do get quite a bit of heartburn too, along with a sick feeling every once in awhile. I hope this all subsides soon, but so far no regrets. I'm also on the scale daily, if not a few times daily...lol, it's addicting!! Glad to hear all is well, talk to you soon!

Wow, your doing great! Finally being able to lose weight is soooo exciting, especially after a lifetime of difficulty! I am doing ok, I seem to get alot of heartburn, what about you? I get everything down fine, I just get a tummy ache every once in awhile. Keep up the great work, how are you doing with working out? Talk to you soon!

I also have this obsession with checking the scale everyday! I have to quit because it's driving me nuts...lol!!!

I can't even eat mashed potatoes yet!! I guess I don't want to either after your experience! I had a hernia and a UTI at the same time of my surgery! He operated on the hernia at the same time, and shot me full of antibiotics to get rid of the UTI. The first couple days I was really nauseus, weak, and dehydrated. I couldn't get much down, but now things are running smooth! I have lost 14 pounds since surgery...what about you? I already went for my post-op appt., he said everything is going great!...Yaaaaaa, we made it to the losers bench!!!

Just wanted to see how you were doing? I made it! At times it got a little rough, but I am doing much better now! I have noticed that all the liquid diets are quite difficult when it comes to cooking for your family, and watching all of them grub, but I will be able to join them soon enough. I hope things are still going smooth for you and you are having a speedy recovery!

Just wanted to say hello, and see how everything is going pre-op. I seen that we are almost the same age and both from Ca. My surgery date is Jan. 5th and I'm very excited. Anyways, I hope all is well and keep me posted!

Hey girl, so I suppose you have started your liquid diet? How is that going? I don't have to start mine until the 22nd...so I get a few days to grub on old time favorites. I didn't get your message forever because you put it on your page, and this whole time I was waiting for it on my page...lol! I have a family too, but we have only been together four years and I have a 1 year old daughtet. It sounds like you will have a great support system!! I don't have facebook (don't really understand it), but I do have myspace and never use it...lol! So e-mailing sounds good. How does your husband feel about it? Hope to hear from you soon! Wow, so we're going in the same day! Are you excited/scared? Do you have everything ready? Are they making you lose any weight pre-op? I have my last appt. with the doc tomorrow, and hopefully I have lost enough. They want me to lose 15-20 pounds pre-op. I am at 13 but still haven't begun my liquid diet (that begins on the 22nd). So I would like to know a little more about ya, like where your from, or where your getting your surgery, how much are you wanting to lose?

I workout as much as I can with my 1 yr old attached to my hip...lol! I also have another visit with my dr. on the 17th, the only pain for me is that I will be getting the surgery done 5 hours away! What kind of protein drinks did you choose? I stocked up on Fusion, but I am hoping to be able to have more of a variety after the surgery, but for now they want me on 0 fat drinks. How much weight are you hoping to lose? I want to lose 150 pounds, but will be happy anywhere I end up...hopefully! Do you have any worries or concerns for the future? Talk to you soon!

It would be great to keep in touch throughout our journey. Are you all prepared? I'm still trying to make all the arrangements, and lose 10 more pounds (per my dr), starting to workout more, and eat healthy. Sooooo excited though!

Just wanted to say hi and good luck! I noticed that we have the same surgery date and thought that it might be nice to keep in touch about what we are going through! I am a little nervous about the pre-op weight loss as well, but I am hopeful! I am new at this site so I would like to keep in touch and figure all this out together...
