Hi everyone,I'm fairly new to this web-site and learning how to navigate.I had my sleeve on Ocober 3rd.Came home on Wednesday afternoon and things are going great.I still find it so hard to believe that my dream has finally come true.The only thing about it was that I wasn't expecting so much pain afterwards but it's getting better everyday.Do I need to join something to be in this group?

Hi everyone.I'm new at this and haven't really posted much.Still trying to figure out how to navigate.I'm having my surgery on Monday the 3rd of October and now I'm starting to get real nervous.I've been on the liquid diet for 7 days so far,3 more to go then another 10 days after the surgery.I hear that there's quite a bit of pain.I hadn't really thought about that,only how slender I was going to become.I'm 57 years old and this is a huge thing for me.I would appreciate any concerns or advice.Thank you

I'm so sorry for you,but I'm going through the exact same thing and I haven't even had my surgery yet.October 3rd is my date and she's already backing off but like you I was always the fat friend and she's always been jealous and hateful if I lost any weight and did everything she could to sabotage me.I guess she's not really a friend after all.I do have a couple of friends that are very happy for me.True friends will be by your side.

Hi everyone,I'm also new to this site.I'm on my liquid diet now and scheduled for surgery on October 3rd.I guess it's nice to find out ahead of time that there will be some pain.At least I won't be so surprised after when I do have have pain.I too have only been thinking about down the line,not immediately.So thanks for the heads up.

Hi everyone.I'm having my surgery on October 3rd and can't wait.I'm 57 years old and so thankful that my 60's and 70's are going to be better than my 40's and 50's.

My surgery is October 3rd and I started my 10 day liquid diet Friday.So far so good but I find myself thinking more and more about food.

Does anyone know anything about bc/bs wal-mart?They won't cover any WLS.Thanks
