  1. I can also relate to the "2nd Day Blues". My hospital stay was overnight, so I was no morphine and felt no pain at all. But, Day #2 was very uncomfortable, especially during the evening. All was tolerable, and because I had read so much about it, I expected Day #2 to be a challenge. I can happily tell you that beginning Day #3, it was much better. I also recommend walking, walking, walking. That's the only way you can get rid of the gas in your system and the bloated feeling you may be experiencing. I was banded only 3 weeks ago and walking has really helped out a lot. Good luck to you!
  2. Hello, For many months I have been reading this forum, and have learned so much about the procedure. I was banded on April 30th and just wanted to post a small "thank you" to all of the posters who have provided valuable pre and post-op information. With your help, I went into this surgery very well-informed. From the moment I put on my hospital gown, I knew what to expect. I was very fortunate to have a positive experience with the surgery, as well as with the hospital. I'm happy to say that my pain and discomfort was tolerable and I went off meds after a few days. I'm looking forward to having my first fill and continuing to visit this forum. Thanks again. SoCalNina
