Thank You....

Hello,

For many months I have been reading this forum, and have learned so much about the procedure. I was banded on April 30th and just wanted to post a small "thank you" to all of the posters who have provided valuable pre and post-op information. With your help, I went into this surgery very well-informed. From the moment I put on my hospital gown, I knew what to expect. I was very fortunate to have a positive experience with the surgery, as well as with the hospital. I'm happy to say that my pain and discomfort was tolerable and I went off meds after a few days. I'm looking forward to having my first fill and continuing to visit this forum.

Thanks again.

Congrats! I'm glad you had a good surgery! Just hang in there now (as I know you will) and follow your doc's post op directions and you'll be golden! :)

Congratulations on your decision. Take advantage of all the resources available to you. Your surgeon, dietician, group support, exercise, all of it will help you be successful. The band only restricts portion size. The rest is up to you. You can do it.
